Hi! My name is Ms. Cordeiro and I am SO EXCITED to begin our journey in 5th grade with you this year!​

It’s going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures and

I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us.

I want to know ALL about you, but first I am going to tell you a few things about me!

 

Ever since I was little I knew I wanted to be a teacher.

My mom and my aunt are teachers, and my grandpa was a professor, so the love for teaching
runs in my family.

​

With a lot of support from my family and friends, I graduated from Florida Atlantic University (GO OWLS!)
with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with an ESOL endorsement.



I taught at my first school for over 6 years, I left that school when was hired here at Franklin Academy.

Some of my old students are here at Franklin today, and I am always excited to see them around.



I'm also a private tutor, so yes, I am ALWAYS working with children! I love it!

I am a mommy to a Little Girl named Emma, and a Little Guy named Owen.

Emma is 2 years old and Owen is 6 months old.

I also have 3 "furry kids" at home, I have a cute little hedgehog named Dexter,

and 2 crazy puppies named Zoey and Cooper.

 

When I’m not in the classroom, or tutoring, I love to be outside soaking up the sun
or watching scary movies.
When we have a long break I like to travel with my family, and friends.

One of my travel goals is to visit all 50 states before I turn 50!

And can you tell by my classroom theme that I love to cruise?!

I know we will have a GREAT year here in 5th grade.​
